Pulse Survey Kit

Anonymous pulse surveys your team can actually believe

Engagement platforms moved upmarket — Workleap now starts at $4,999 a year and 15Five wants $4 per employee per month, billed annually. Google Forms is free, but HR sees every respondent's email, so "anonymous" is a promise nobody can check. This kit is the missing middle: the question bank in six languages, the anonymity rules your team can verify, the quarterly calendar and the tracker — run on tools you already own. One payment of $79 — no subscription.

What's inside the kit

One zip, fifteen files, no software to install: the questions, the rules, the calendar, the messages and the tracker. Everything runs on the form tool and chat your team already uses.

Question bank

46 questions, 6 languages

eNPS, engagement drivers and manager-feedback items with a quarterly rotation (direction → managers → onboarding & wellbeing → year review) plus open questions. IDs match across EN / TH / JA / KO / DE / IT, so a multilingual team answers the same survey.

Anonymity playbook

Rules you can publish

No identifiers, scores hidden below 3 responses, comments reported from 5, anti-differencing suppression for small groups, and a 60-second pre-launch audit — the same thresholds the major platforms publish for themselves.

Cadence

12-month calendar

Four quarterly rounds with the full day-by-day timeline: invite on day 1, one reminder, one last call, results within a week of closing — about 2–3 hours of your time per quarter.

Messages

Five fill-in templates

Invitation, mid-window reminder, last call, results + named actions, and the pre-round follow-up that makes the next round's participation higher. Every template keeps the anonymity rules visible.

Tracker

Spreadsheet with guardrails

Participation, eNPS calculator, question scores, trends and an action ledger. Formulas do the enforcing: any score backed by fewer than 3 responses reads "hidden" — the threshold is not a promise, it's a cell.

License

One buyer, your whole company

A single-buyer commercial license: run the program across your entire organization, translate and adapt internally, forever. Reselling or sharing the files isn't included.

What this kit will never tell you

No anonymity magic. A survey is anonymous only if the setup and the rules make it so — and only as long as you keep them. The playbook makes every rule inspectable: no identifiers, thresholds of 3 (scores) and 5 (comments), one reporting cut per round, and disclosure of anything the form logs. If you can't keep those rules, don't run the survey.

No engagement promises. The Gallup numbers above are context, not outcomes. The kit controls the process — honest questions, verifiable rules, published actions with owners. Whether scores move depends on what your company does with the answers.

No platform. No app, no dashboard, no accounts to provision. The program runs on the form tool and chat your team already uses — which is also why employee answers never touch our servers.

Not for customers. This kit measures employee voice. Customer NPS/CSAT programs — identified respondents, transaction-triggered surveys — are a different job with different mechanics.

From zip to first results in three weeks

The first round takes about an hour to set up. After that, the calendar carries the rhythm.

Hour one — read + build

Playbook, questions, form

Read the anonymity playbook, pick 12–13 questions in your team's language, build the form with identifier collection switched off, and paste the rules block into the invitation.

Week one — run the round

Invite, remind, close

Post the invitation template in your main channel on a Tuesday morning, keep the window open for 7 business days, send one reminder and one last call. Nothing more.

Week two — publish

Thresholded results + actions

Paste counts into the tracker — formulas hide anything under 3 responses — then post results with 2–3 named actions, and log them for the next quarter's follow-up.

One price. The process is yours.

No monthly plan, no per-seat fee, no subscription — you already pay for the form tool and the chat.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a platform like Culture Amp or Leapsome?

No — and on purpose. Platforms bundle surveys with reviews, OKRs and HRIS at enterprise prices, and most now sell through demo calls with annual contracts. This kit is just the pulse program: questions, anonymity rules, calendar and tracking, run on tools you already own, for teams of 10–100 that don't have a budget line for a $4,999+ platform.

What exactly do I get?

A zip with 15 files: the 6-chapter SETUP.md walkthrough, the anonymity playbook, the 12-month survey calendar, five message templates, six question banks (41 closed + 5 open questions each, IDs aligned across languages), the results tracker spreadsheet (XLSX with auto-hiding formulas) plus a CSV version, the MANIFEST and the license. Everything is plain Markdown/CSV plus one spreadsheet.

How is this different from just using Google Forms?

Three ways. Question design: driver categories with a quarterly rotation instead of a grab-bag of items. Anonymity: Google Forms' default settings show HR every respondent's email, and "trust me" is not a rule — the playbook's checklist turns the form into an actually unlinked survey, with thresholds enforced by formulas in the tracker. The loop: calendar, message templates and an action ledger, because measuring without visible follow-up damages trust faster than not measuring at all.

How can a spreadsheet be anonymous?

The rules do the work, the spreadsheet enforces them. The tracker stores aggregates only — never raw answers — and displays "hidden" for any score backed by fewer than 3 responses. Raw form answers stay in your own form tool; the playbook tells you to name exactly who can open them, and to say so in the invitation.

Which languages are included?

The full question bank comes in English, Thai, Japanese, Korean, German and Italian — same question IDs, written in native HR register, not machine-translated. Your team picks a language per survey and results stay comparable across sites. This landing page speaks the same six languages.

What about GDPR and employee data?

The kit is self-run: survey answers go straight into your own workspace and never touch our servers — there is no SaaS processing to assess. The playbook covers the working practices (no identifier collection, aggregate-only storage, disclosure of anything the form logs) and states plainly that it is not legal advice; for binding interpretation of GDPR or local employment law, consult a qualified professional.

What team size is this for?

It's designed for 10–100 people. Below roughly 10, most cuts fall under the 3-response reporting threshold — the kit includes a lighter round variant (eNPS + two open questions, reported as themes) for exactly that case. Above ~100, you'll want per-team reporting with group minimums, which the playbook covers, or an engagement platform.

What is the refund policy?

If the kit doesn't fit how you work, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we refund in full — the files are yours to keep or delete. One refund per purchase; we only ask for optional feedback.

Ask the questions. Keep the rules. Publish the actions.
